Charlene Knight
Charlene Bryant Knight, age 93, of Henderson, died Thursday, December 1, 2022, at Autumn Terrace in Perry.
Born in Unadilla, she was the daughter of the late Paris Bryant and Essie Mims Bryant. She was a homemaker and a member of Henderson Baptist Church. Mrs. Knight had a sweet and gentle spirit. She was a quiet southern lady and her family was the center of her life.
She is survived by her daughters, Beverly Knight Ragan (Ken) of Perry and Shirley Knight Beck (Jim) of Bainbridge; her son, Johnny Knight of Perry; her sisters, Elsie Chambless of Nashville, GA and Wanda Gray of Perry; her grandchildren, Adam Ragan of Perry, David Ragan (Jacquelyn) of Kannapolis, NC, Lindsay B. Thompson (Jamie) of Thomasville and Matthew Beck (Heidi) of Dawsonville; 6 great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her brothers, Walter Lee Bryant and Raymond Bryant and her husband of 60 years, John L. Knight.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
