Carnley joins MGSC staff

Raymond E. Carnley has joined Middle Georgia State College as Vice President for University Advancement and executive director of the Middle Georgia State College Foundation. He is overseeing development, alumni, marketing and communications operations.

Originally from Perry, Carnley most recently was Chief Advancement Officer and Foundation Executive Director at Georgia Highlands College.

Earlier in his career he served in development positions at Presbyterian College, the Forest History Society (an academic affiliate of Duke University) and Emory University.

Carnley holds a master’s degree in Higher Education Administration from Columbia College and is working on his doctorate in Higher Education Management at the University of Georgia. He is a Certified Fund Raising Executive.

Carnley and his wife, Kelley, and their children are in the process of relocating from Cartersville to Middle Georgia.
