Brown, Spudic power Warhawks past Ola in playoffs
With two goals from Scott Spudic and two goals from Dre Brown, the Veterans Warhawks won their first round playoff game against Ola, 4-2.
The Warhawks advanced to the next round of the 5A state playoffs and will face Whitewater.
Whitewater has a 10-4-1 overall record this season and defeated Tri-Cities 2-0 on the road in the first round.
Whitewater has been impressive on the road throughout the entire season.
Whitewater is 7-1 on the road and will travel to Freedom Field to play Veterans on Tuesday, Apr. 27.
Though Veterans is a No.1 seed, their matchup with Whitewater shouldn’t be underestimated.
Whoever advances will play the winner between Decatur and Blessed Trinity.
