Brother and sister wounded in shooting

Warner Robins Police Department was dispatched to 159 Willow Avenue in reference to shots fired around 12:33 a.m.

Officers were able to determine there was a large gathering at the residence. At some point, a shot was fired into the air, and then multiple rounds fired in the crowd. A 35-year-old male and his sister, a 29-year-old female, each received a gunshot wound. They were both transported to Navicent Macon with non-life-threatening injuries.

According to Police Chief John Wagner, there was no one on scene willing to provide information on why the incident occurred or who the shooting parties involved were. Multiple shell casings were found left in the roadway.
