Brian Keith Gordon
Brian Keith Gordon, 56 of Cordele, passed away Sunday, September 23, 2018 at his residence surrounded by his family. He was preceded in death by his father Elder Fred Gordon. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 27, 2018 Lebanon Primitive Baptist Church with the committal service following in Zion Hope Cemetery Annex. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at Rainey Family Funeral Services. Bruno, as he was affectionately known, was born in Warner Robins to Fred Kenneth Gordon and Ruby Elizabeth Childers Gordon. He was a supervisor with GFA and an active member of Lebanon Primitive Baptist Church. He loved his family and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Bruno will always be remembered by children and adults for the many years of involvement with the little league program in Crisp County. He could always be found at the ball fields, coaching, umpiring or doing whatever needed to be done at the time. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Sue Jaudon Gordon of Cordele; his mother, Ruby Childers Gordon of Cordele; two sons and their wives, Brian and Lydia Gordon of Perry and Scott Baston and Hannah Baker of Macon; four grandchildren, Wade Gordon, Fred Gordon, Cassidy Baker and Wyatt Baker; and a sister and her husband, Karen and Lee Jones of Perry. Donations to the American Heart Association, 7272 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75231 would please the family. Arrangements are by Rainey Family Funeral Services.
