Brenda Anne Stockman, 79 of Chipley, Florida, passed away on February 14, 2025.

Brenda Anne Stockman, 79 of Chipley, Florida, passed away on February 14, 2025, in Hospice Care at Jackson Hospital in Marianna, Florida.

Brenda was born on January 17, 1946, in Macon, Georgia to Bill Stockman and Mildred Register.  She had lived in the Florida Panhandle since 1979, and worked in the Civil Service industry for over 25 years. Brenda enjoyed keeping up with current events daily on her computer, she loved word search puzzles and watching General Hospital.  She will be missed by those who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Bill Stockman and Mildred (Ann) Daniels; son: Charles Derrick Jackson Jr.

She is survived by her daughter: Lisa Bottoms (Steve) of Chipley, Florida;  sister: Debbie Gilmore of Longwood, Florida.

In honor of Brenda’s wishes, no services will be held. Memorialization will be by cremation with Obert Funeral Home of Chipley, Florida in charge of arrangements.

Special thanks to Vitas Hospice Care, especially her nurse, Toni Qualls, also thank you to Dr. Steven Spence, Jackson Hospital 2nd Floor staff and EMS Washington County.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her honor to Vitas Hospice Care in Marianna, Florida.
