Back to the future: 1995
Congratulations to all the graduates out there. It surely is a great milestone.
This article is dedicated to my stepson Ryan Wynn, who is graduating Saturday with the Perry High School class of 2013. It is funny how my husband and I will make a reference or a joke involving, say for instance, Mr. T, and the kids will just give us a blank stare. Our exclamations of “I pity the fool” just don’t evoke any response from those who didn’t watch “The A-Team” or reruns!
I always like to print information from the year most of the graduates were born, choosing 1995. These things happened the year you kids were born! Just wait until you have kids your age and they laugh at the pop culture you remember.
Don’t blink, it will be here before you know it! I always laughed when the parents and grandparents said that to me. Guess what? I’m not laughing anymore! Have a wonderful graduation celebration!
