Announcing Around the County Football Podcast

Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

As sports editor of the HHJ, I’m happy to introduce the Around the County Football Podcast to our readers and subscribers. If you haven’t caught the first two episodes, Around the County is a radio-style podcast where I give you coverage of all six high school football teams following their games on Friday nights.

The show airs every Sunday and features quotes from coaches, players and exclusive insight on each team. I attend a football game each week and highlight a player or players on the show that stood out from the game.

I appreciate all of the support I’ve received from the show in my first couple of episodes and look forward to bringing Houston County even more high school football coverage with Around the County Football Podcast. Listeners, don’t hesitate to leave a comment or ask a question, I’d love to interact with you all and answer your questions.

This is also a good time to promote my Twitter given not too many people have followed the HHJ page, but on Twitter I post frequent notes, updates and highlights from the games I attend so if you’d like to keep up with Friday night lights around Houston County go ahead and follow my Twitter @NameIsJoshua and add the Houston Home Journal on Facebook for updates as well.

Link to the podcast is https://joshuamillerwrites.podbean.com/ and it will be available on more platforms in the near future.
