WARNER ROBINS, Ga. – Livability recognizes the International City as one of the best places to live in Georgia.

Livability is a website that specializes in community research, allowing the public to see which the best places are to live or visit. The city was voted along with other esteemed cities in the state such as Marietta, Johns Creek, Columbus and Savannah.

Community and Economic Development Director Kate Hogan said as a resident and employee of the city they felt a lot of pride they were recognized.

“We think that Warner Robins is a wonderful place to live and it’s great that our story is being told so strongly that others are now seeing how wonderful the city of Warner Robins is,” said Hogan.

Hogan shares Livability first reached out to the Robins Regional Chamber through email; The chamber then shared the exciting news with the city. She believes the chamber and the city both offer a lot of opportunities for the community.

“I think the city of Warner Robins has a lot to offer for families, for young professionals, for military retirees. It’s an opportunity for us to recognize the exceptional quality of life while also showing that Warner Robins is an ideal place to call home,” said Hogan.

Not only was the city voted the best to live but it was also voted one of the best places for Food Manufacturing.

According to the city’s press release, Global Location Strategies highlights the city as a thriving place for the Food Manufacturing Industry Cluster. The city is home to industry leaders such as Perdue Farms and Frito-Lay. The press release states this recognition symbolizes the city’s commitment to creating a business-friendly environment.

Hogan shares the city has a lot of great things going on including growth continuing to thrive and new businesses and residents coming into the community.

“We’re just eager to continue to see growth in 2024 and appreciate this recognition by Livability,” said Hogan.
