Adams new Superior Court judge
Warner Robins attorney G.E. “Bo” Adams will be the new Houston County Superior Court Judge after winning Tuesday’s run-off election.
The results would not be official until 5 p.m. Friday, said Diane Worrell, a clerk at the Houston County Board of Elections office.
As of Tuesday, Adams totaled 4,027 votes while opponent and fellow Warner Robins attorney Jeffrey L. Grube took in 1,639 votes, Worrell said.
“I appreciate the voters, and I appreciate all the supporters who gave their time and their money, putting up signs and spreading the word, and just really have gone out of their way for me, and I don’t take that lightly,” Adams said. “There’s no way I could have done this without them.”
He is expected to take office in January. The nonpartisan post is being vacated by retiring Chief Judge George Nunn, who has held the seat some 30 years.
