Acres and Oaks Kitchen expands to Warner Robins
Acres and Oak Kitchen has expanded to Warner Robins. Operators and franchisees Justin and Afton Collins reflect on the business and explained why they decided to expand.
WARNER ROBINS — Acres and Oak Kitchen has just recently expanded to Warner Robins and has been open for over two weeks. The new location is at 608 S. Houston Lake Rd.

Justin and Afton Collins are operators and franchisees of this location and in Perry.
Justin Collins said Acres and Oak Kitchen specializes in pre-made casseroles, baked goods and desserts.
“We exist to serve those in need, whether it be a busy family or you have someone in your life that is celebrating or suffering, we’re here to make dinner easy,” Justin Collins said.
Acres and Oak was originally called the Casserole Shop, before Evan Acres purchased the business. Their first location was in Macon, then they expanded to Perry and now to Warner Robins. Acres and Oak also has a location in Dublin.
“The idea of Acres and Oak is bringing the family together,” Afton Collins said. “[Evan] Acres is the Acres and the Oak represents the table. In January, 2024, we bought our first franchise at the Perry location, and beyond our wildest dreams, we opened a second location in Warner Robins.”
They said the community has supported them really well the past two weeks since opening this location.
“Warner Robins has so many small businesses that the community can continue to serve as it’s really cool to be a part of a fast growing community,” Afton Collins said.
In terms of the food, Justin Collins said Acres and Oak Kitchen has pretty much anything you can think of when it comes to casseroles. He said their most popular dishes are their poppy seed chicken and caramel cakes.
“We’ve got anything from lasagna, beef stroganoff, chicken pot pie, poppy seed chicken and just any casserole you can think of, we probably have it, and if we don’t, let us know and we’ll try to see if we can make it,” he said.
Aside from dinner, Acres and Oak Kitchen also has breakfast casseroles, ready to eat lunch meals along with snacks such as cheese straws, cheese wafers and wedding cookies.
Justin and Afton Collins are very excited to have now expanded Acres and Oak Kitchen after many questions asking if they were coming to Warner Robins.
“As time went on, God just kept opening doors for us and showing us that now is the time,” Justin Collins said. “We’re so excited and the community is so excited.”
Customer demand was one of the main reasons for Acres and Oak’s expansion. Justin Collins pointed out being in Downtown Perry is the perfect fit, and expansion made sense with their widespread brand recognition.
“With everywhere in Houston County growing, it made sense to expand to Warner Robins,” he said.
Afton Collins said Acres and Oak Kitchen sells convenience with their products, another reason why they chose to expand.
“We’re selling good, home cooked meals without you having to go to the grocery store or chop up all the vegetables or make the mess in your kitchen or clean up the mess in your kitchen, as all of those steps are taken out for the sake of convenience,” Afton Collins said. “If we’re selling convenience really well, let’s make ourselves a little more convenient, and now we can stretch from north to south of Houston County and serve the community really well.”
Acres and Oak will host their official ribbon cutting to celebrate the new location on Tuesday, Feb. 4. See their full menu and closest location to you at acresandoakkitchen.com
