Perry Police respond to deadly shooting at apartment complex
The shooting took place Thursday night at the Houston Lake Apartments.
PERRY — Law enforcement is investigating after a deadly shooting at an apartment complex Thursday night.
According to the Perry Police Department, on March 12, around 9:30 p.m, officers responded to a shots fired call at the Houston Lake Apartments.
Officers searched the scene where the shots were believed to have been fired, where they found an adult male with a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead on scene by the Coroner’s Office.
Authorities believe there is no ongoing threat to the public, and are investigating the scene alongside the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.
