WARNER ROBINS — Kade Randall, 28, of Warner Robins, was indicted on November 14, after traveling across the country to sexually abuse a minor.
According to court documents, Randall was a part of a sting operation, messaging what appeared to be a 12-year-old child’s father in Washington State, starting on Sept. 30. An undercover law enforcement officer posed as the father and chatted with Randall in October and November.
Court documents say that Randall expressed his “desire to travel to Washington State” to meet with and sexually abuse the daughter.
In these messages, Randall inquired about how old the minor was and implied that he liked younger children. As time went on, Randall would continuously send pictures and videos of child sexual abuse material to the undercover law enforcement officer.
Court documents say Randall flew from Georgia to Washington State on Nov. 12 and on Nov. 13, arranged a meetup with the father at a coffee shop.
“Soon after, federal agents approached Randall, identifying themselves as law enforcement and detained him,” the court document said.
Randall is still in federal custody in the U.S. Attorney’s office in Washington. He was charged with one count of attempted enticement of a minor, which could carry a sentence of 10 years to life, and one count of distribution of child sexual abuse material, which carries a five to 20-year sentence.
