Teenager arrested in connection with vehicle with racist language, more may be pending
Centerville Police Department arrested 17-year-old Sage Kolbe in connection to a vehicle with racist and lewd language seen last weekend.

CENTERVILLE – Centerville Police Department arrested a teenager in connection with a vehicle with racist and lewd language seen on Saturday, July 19.
According to a media release, subsequent investigation led to the arrest of 17-year-old Sage Kolbe. On Tuesday, July 22, he was charged with removing or affixing a license plate with the intent to conceal or misrepresent. He was also charged with knowingly driving a motor vehicle with suspended, canceled or revoked registration.
Units from the Houston County Sheriff’s Office Warrant Division arrested Kolbe without incident at his residence and he was transported to the Houston County Detention Center.
Social media was in uproar after photos of the vehicle, which featured racial slurs and swastikas, were posted last weekend. It was found parked in front of Crunch Fitness at the Galleria Mall.
Centerville Police Chief Cedric Duncan provided a statement on the arrest.
“This incident was investigated as a collaborative effort with our local law enforcement agencies in Middle Georgia. The overwhelming amount of information that was provided by the public was critical in identifying this subject. More arrests may be pending.”
Warner Robins Mayor LaRhonda Patrick also made a statement condemning the incident.
“Hate has no place in Warner Robins. What happened is deeply disturbing and unacceptable. We stand united as a community against racism, bigotry and any form of hate speech. I want to be clear, this does not represent who we are. Law enforcement is working to ensure those responsible are held accountable. Warner Robins is a city where everyone should feel safe, valued and respected.”
The incident is still under investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Centerville Police Department at (478) 953-4222.
