WARNER ROBINS—Atrium Health Navicent Primary Care Warner Robins, located at 113 Willie Lee Parkway, celebrated its opening with a ribbon cutting on Wednesday, Nov. 13.

Perdue added that access to healthcare from a primary care provider can be a struggle.

“It is so very important to have a trusted provider, not just to see when you’re sick, but also to see regularly for preventative care and to help manage any health condition that you may have,” she said. “This is a great day for Atrium Health Navicent, Warner Robins and the Houston County community.”

Georgia Market President of Atrium Health Delvecchio S. Finlay gave his remarks and mentioned the importance of primary care.

“[Primary care] is generally a front door to quality care and being able to maintain a healthy lifestyle for you, your family and your loved ones,” he said.

Finlay said Atrium Health is excited about the location of its new primary care center.

“We are here in the beautiful city of Warner Robins, and we are very approximate to I-75 and Watson Boulevard,” he said.

Finlay pointed out they are also excited about their proximity to partners and the services they offer.

“Right on the other side of the freeway in Peach County, we have Atrium Health Navicent Peach Hospital, and a lot of members in this community get their acute care and emergency care services there,” he said.

Finlay also said this new location offers extended hours and weekend hours.

Chief Clinical Officer Sanford Duke said Atrium Health is excited to expand its primary care offerings to Houston County and discussed what this location offers to the public.

“Obviously, primary care like chronic disease management, high blood pressure, diabetes, heart failure and those are just the basic primary care things we offer,” he said. “We also offer ancillary services like X-rays, vaccinations, sick visits and in addition to that, we have occupational medicine. We’re really excited about this as we think it is going to be fantastic to drive access to great excellent care.”

Atrium Health Navicent Primary Care Warner Robins is open to the public Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., and on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. To learn more about Atrium Health Navicent go to navicenthealth.org.
