WARNER ROBINS — After a great performance in Week 4’s 54-44 win over Houston County, Skyler Williams was awarded for his efforts with a State Player of the Week selection.
Georgia High School Football Daily (GHSFD), which covers the entire state of Georgia, chose Williams as their State Player of the Week in Week 4.
Williams is the second player from Houston County to be selected in a row — Isaiah Mitchell was selected in Week 3.
Ted Langford from GHSFD presented the award and commended Warner Robins’ rich football history.

Williams had this to say after receiving his award:
“This couldn’t happen without the [offensive line]. The o-line made a lot of plays, made the game easy for us,” Williams said. “We won in the trenches, defense made stops and got turnovers when we needed them. A great team win overall.”
Williams had a combined 305 yards and four touchdowns on the ground and through the air against the Bears.
