Lady Bears remain perfect against Ola

WARNER ROBINS, Ga – The Houston County High School Lady Bears softball team continued their home winning streak Monday with a convincing win over Ola High School in a mercy rule win after three and half innings.

Ally Flemings pitched a perfect game for the Lady Bears and the team’s hitting did the rest.

Flemings is a four year starter for the Lady Bears, who is committed to the University of South Carolina – Aiken.

The first two innings of the game The Lady Bears brought eight batters to the plate each time and led 7-0 at the end of two innings.

In the third inning, Ola brought in a new pitcher to try and slow down the red hot Lady Bears but eight batters later the Lady Bears had put up enough runs to win by mercy rule and with the pitching of Ally Flemings that is exactly what they did.

The Lady Bears play West Laurens, the 4A State Champions last year, on Thursday at 6 p.m. and hope to continue their winning ways.
