House hit in Tuesday morning shooting

BONAIRE, Ga. – Shots were fired Tuesday morning at approximately 4:30 a.m. According to a media release, the Houston County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Division responded to the 100 block of Oakwood Drive in Bonaire in reference to the shots fired.

Upon arrival, the responding deputies discovered that the residence located at 179 Oakwood Drive had been struck by multiple gunshots. The residence was occupied, but there are no reported injuries.

This is still an ongoing investigation and there is no suspect description available at this time. If anyone has any information related to the incident, they are encouraged to contact Sgt. Anna Lange of the Houston County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division at (478) 542-2085 or (478) 542-2080. People are also encouraged to contact the Macon Regional Crimestoppers at (478) 742-2330.
