Houston Healthcare experiences ‘cybersecurity incident’ affecting operations

WARNER ROBINS, Ga. — According to a press release from Houston Healthcare, the local hospital system has experienced some form of “Cybersecurity incident,” affecting some of their operational systems.

“We are working with third-party experts to investigate this incident and bring our systems back online as quickly and safely as possible, and in a way that prioritizes patient care,” the press release said. “Our facilities remain open, ad we continue to provide care for our patients using established back-up processes and other downtime procedures.”

Houston Healthcare has not released any additional information about this incident or what systems it has affected. The Journal is working to provide additional information. As news becomes available, you can read about it in The Houston Home Journal.
