Houston County Bears Baseball Coach Matt Hopkins released the following statement: “It’s time to fear the Meer. The Bears earned two hard fought wins tonight over Cambridge to advance to the Elite-8 for the fourth year in a row. Need everyone here on Monday, as we take on Buford.” The Houston County Bears are ranked as the number one team in the Peach State, region 1-6A, as well as atop the Macon area.
