On the Supreme Court

Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

The Supreme Court debated the vaccine mandate last Friday. One of the comments from Justice Sonya Sotomayor was, “Omicron is more deadly for the unvaccinated, than the Delta. Over 100,000 children are hospitalized in critical condition, many of them on ventilators. This is something we’ve not seen before.” Did she just read that on the cover of the National Enquirer as she dashed from the grocery store? Actually, there are about 3,500 children hospitalized in the country, according to the CDC. Justice Amy Coney Barrett asked government attorneys, “When will the Emergency End?” She touched on a sensitive issue because they really had no answers. They want the bureaucratic state to control our lives. It’s not up to the bureaucratic state. A mandate should be an act of Congress, but it could never pass Congress. After reading the transcript of the proceedings, it sounds as though the ruling will be 6-3 against the mandates. The ruling will come soon—maybe before this article is published.

Last week, Bill Clinton, Barack Obama and Oprah Winfrey made calls to Joe Manchin to “encourage” him to vote for the ‘Build Back Better’ Joe Biden bill. They call it BBB because you must destroy what is currently in place before you build it back better (Marxism 101). The Democrats have no problem destroying the status quo and printing money to build it back, in order to further their climate change hoax. This bill, in essence, is a down payment on the Green New Deal. Last time I checked, God controlled the weather. I am a good steward of the environment, but I will never believe their nonsense. Remember, Al Gore said we’d all be dead by 2013. They are determined to kill the goose that laid the golden egg.

And speaking of “printing money”, last week, the yield 10-year treasury spiked above the trendline and into the danger zone at 1.7%. Last year, the government paid 5.3% of the federal budget to service the growing interest on whopping $29.7 Trillion debt. The Federal Reserve announced last week that they are on track to raise interest rates a minimum of three times, possible four, later this year. Our highly inflated and expensive markets swooned when they got the news. It will take ‘some kind of trickery’ to keep the house of cards in place. We’ve been talking about this for many years, and now it has turned into a “cry wolf” scenario. I hear this constantly: “Yea, we’ve been hearing about this debt issue for years and nothing ever happens.” Remember, the Department of Treasury’s most crucial lender is the Federal Reserve. They are robbing Peter the taxpayer to pay Paul the billionaire. They can create as many dollars as they need to buy bonds (and this is not good at all) and so far, they have managed to keep rates low. When inflation soars (it has and it will continue), look out below. It will not be pretty. I write about this too often, but I do so only because I’m deeply concerned. It all boils down to one thing: there is no accountability in Washington D.C., unless of course, you’re wearing the scarlet letter (“C” for conservative). Then you must obey every rule.

Did you see Ted Cruz destroy his political career with three words last week? He sat in Congress and pandered to the Uni-Party by referring to the January 6 protests, as “violent terrorist attacks.” (I refuse to use the word “insurrection”, since none of the people were actually charged with the crime of Insurrection—because there was no insurrection—just an FBI setup). He continued to dig a bigger hole by telling Tucker Carlson, “What I was referring to are the limited number of people who engaged in violent attacks against police.” Sure you were, Ted. The Senate was in session discussing those ‘bad ole January 6 Trump terrorists’ and he got caught up in the hoopla. When Cruz said he was simply referring to the few who attacked the police, Tucker responded, “That is a lie”. He squirmed and gave a song and dance like he was in a Broadway musical as Carlson pinned his ears back. In this act of pure stupidity, he poked his supporters in both eyes and then lied about it. Personally, I believe Ted was pandering to the Uni-Party, attempting to get in their good graces for a Presidential run. He should know better. Several months ago, in a move of incredible hubris, he announced that he will be the Republican nominee for President in 2024. Nice knowing you, Ted.

What is astounding to me is our elected officials actually believe they can be wishy-washy and no one will notice. Are you listening Brian Kemp? After three and a half years in office, he announced last week, that he is pushing Constitutional Carry of firearms in Georgia. Why? Because he acts very much like a spineless bowl of Jell-o, and he will do anything to get your vote. Don’t get me wrong. I’ve been waiting for him to fulfill this promise since he was elected. He reminds me of a dumber version of Bill Clinton: Constantly poll the electorate and check the wind. It’s never, “What is the right thing to do?” Unfortunately, I may have to vote for him again if he wins the nomination. I hope he doesn’t. What is super mind-boggling to me is I constantly hear from folks, that if we don’t support Kemp, we will lose to Stacey Abrams. The Georgia Primary is held in late May—five and a half months before the November election. I will either vote for David Perdue or Kandiss Taylor. Whoever wins, I will support the Republican candidate. We will come together and vote against Abrams. No reason to fear anything. Just vote and hold the criminals to account! Georgia continues to be a Republican state, as long as the five counties in the Atlanta area are closely monitored for election fraud. Since both Kemp and Raffensperger are running in 2022, I’m quite sure the results will be much cleaner and clearer. Maybe it’s there turn to go throw an election spin cycle—dirty clothes and all.

Speaking of our old friend Brad Raffensperger, the Georgia Secretary of State who presents himself as ‘Mr. Integrity Counts’, has finally decided to open an investigation on Atlanta-area ballot harvesting after he realized he was getting destroyed in the polls. It is illegal in Georgia to harvest ballots and the Supreme Court agreed in a ruling last year. A man supposedly came forward who said he participated in the harvesting of votes. Videos and cell phone records confirmed this after a “True the Vote” investigation. Of course, all of us knew this in 2020 and no one wanted to talk about it. So did Raffensperger, but now he is motivated to move. Our local friends Joe Rossi and Jack James continue to aggressively push their solid case of voter fraud/malfeasance against Fulton County. We will get to the bottom of it, hopefully before the end of 2022. The truth will prevail.

American Poet James Russell Lowell wrote in a letter in 1876 “Is ours the government of the people, for the people, and by the people, or a kakistocracy rather, for benefit of knaves at the cost of fools?” A “kakistocracy” is defined as a state or society governed by its least suitable or competent citizens and it is perfectly suited to describe our present Federal Government. On Friday, the White House posted a graphic claiming they are creating in excess of 500,000 jobs per month. Simultaneously across town, the Bureau of Labor Statistics released monthly stats that showed only 199,000 jobs were created (badly missing estimates). Over in the Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer was declaring that 750 million new cases of Covid-19 were reported the day before, while there are only 335 million people in the country. Sonya Sotomayor, made her crazy comments while listening to the proceedings in the comfort of her Covid-free home, but was later spotted dining with two Senators. Then there was Kamala Harris, who shamelessly compared January 6th to the falling of the Twin Towers, where 3000 victims were murdered. Everywhere you turn, you see nothing but pure deceit. If you hang out in Washington and Gomorrah long enough, you will become them. I hope for the best, but, looking ahead, I expect the unexpected and imagine the unimaginable. We have devolved into this bubbling primordial soup, where there are no rules. The only folks vilified are the ones who want accountability. The next three years are going to be very difficult. Mark my word! Buckle up, pray, and let’s work hard to hold our public officials accountable, or vote them OUT! Cruise control is no longer an option for any of us. We can no longer accept the gaslighting and the dishonesty of the swamp.

Democrats in Congress push vaccine passports while they continuing to weaken voting rights. Senator Kevin Cramer of North Dakota introduced a new bill to pair voter ID requirements with vaccine passports. He says, “if a state forces people to prove their vaccination status, they should also have to prove who they are when they go to vote”. Senator Cramer says he is just trying to point out the blatant hypocrisy of the Left.

Allow me to finish this week by quoting the man of Common Sense, Thomas Paine, who said, “Tyranny, like hell, is not easily conquered; yet we have this consolation with us, that the harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph.” Keep the faith!
