Warner Robins Fire Department responded to a structure fire on Ennis Avenue, early Thursday morning around 1 a.m.

Deputy Fire Chief Bobby Wood said when firefighters arrived on scene, the fire was heavily involved, and they were informed that the residents got out safely. Firefighters remained on scene until 4 a.m.

Wood said from preliminary investigation reports, it appears the cause was from a scuba tank in the garage of the residence that got hot, exploded and shot through the attic and across the street.

No one was hurt and the residence is deemed a complete loss. Wood said the American Red Cross was notified and is assisting the family.

As of Thursday, the cause remains under investigation.
