Nash, Feliciana hit 2020 in stride: A look at WR cross country

Warner Robins cross country runner, Will Nash, has started 2020 on the right foot with three top-five finishes in his past three competitions. Nash followed up his fourth place at the Perry Midstate Meet 5K with a first place finish in the Patriot Pride Invitational 5K. Nash topped his personal best at the Patriot Pride Invitational with a 16:20.5 time. Recently he also finished a new personal record in the two-mile run at the Bleckley County Clash of the Classes, where he finished in 10:52.3 with second place. Nash’s teammate, senior Jesus Eduardo Medina, placed seventh at the Bleckley County Clash and finished with a personal best time of 12:57.0

On the girls cross country team, junior Angela Feliciana is improving her placements every meet. She started the season placing 32 in the Perry Midstate Meet, then 20 at the Patriot Pride Invitational, followed by a seventh place finish in the two-mile Bleckley County Clash of the Classes, and recently she finished first place at the Greyhound Invitational 5K. Feliciana has also recorded her personal best in the 5K (24:16.7) and the two-mile (16:09.3). Teammate, senior Farinaz Zahiri placed sixth at the Patriot Pride Invitational and finished in 22:13.1, her personal 5K best.
