Houston County teen charged with 18 felonies

On Monday just after 2 a.m., Officers with the Byron Police Department responded to a call of a subject in a yard on Hudson Street.

When officers arrived on scene and witnessed a male subject walking in the area. The suspect was then identified as Lenny Gupton, 17, of Houston County. Gupton had on his person, items taken from vehicles in the Woodland Drive Neighborhood After further investigation officers found a total of 18 vehicles that had been broken into. Gupton has been charged with 18 felony counts of entering automobile, and criminal trespass. Gupton, at the time of his arrest was currently out on bond for similar acts in Houston County. He is being held without bond at the Peach County Law Enforcement Center.
