WRPD arrests one for armed robbery
Warner Robins Police responded to a rented room at Motel 6 located at 1440 Watson Blvd. for someone pointing a pistol. When officers arrived, they interviewed the victim and witnesses as well as reviewed surveillance video from the business. Through their investigation, officers
determined the incident was an armed robbery, and they were able to locate the suspects involved at a residence on Oakview Square. An undisclosed amount of prescription medication was taken from the victim during the robbery.
21-year-old Michael Dalton Maddox was arrested for armed robbery, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, possession of marijuana, possession of xanax with Intent, Possession of Oxycodone with Intent, and possession of drugs not in the original container. A pistol was also recovered in addition to the drugs. Two additional suspects were involved and warrants are expected in the near future.
