Warner Robins set to host second football signing ceremony on Monday afternoon
The Warner Robins Demons football program continues to celebrate one of the greatest seasons in the school’s history. There will be a second signing ceremony on Monday at 2:45 p.m. at the school’s cafeteria for six football players that all made an impact on the Demons run to the 5A state championship game.
Seniors Jarius Burnette (Georgia Prep), Sam Bish (U.S. Merchant Marines), Jarius Evans (Iowa Wesleyan University), Dalton Hedden (Georgia Highlands College), Jerquan Parrish (Georgia Prep), Coby Reed (Mercer University) and tight end Eric Williams (Fort Valley State University) will all sign letters-of-intent on Monday.
“It’s very humbling considering everything I’ve been through,” said Reed. “All the hard work and overcoming all kinds of adversity finally paid off. I’m just blessed that I get the opportunity.”
Of signing with a collegiate program Williams said, “It’s a dream come true and it’s a blessing to continue doing something I love.” The Demons have had 17 players sign with college football programs from the 2018 region 1-AAAAA championship team, including OL Christian Armstrong who signed with Florida State University, Dillon Braunstein, Armstrong’s line mate who will be at Fort Valley State University in the fall, running back Jaeven West who is headed to the University of West Georgia, defensive lineman Jam’l Dillard to Lenoir Rhyne University, fellow defenisve lineman Bobby Kelly to Georgia Military College and Auburn University commit cornerback CJ Harris.
