Grand jury returns 20 indictments
A Houston County grand jury returned 20 indictments Thursday afternoon. The charges include burglary, aggravated assault, rape and stalking.
Kami Renee Fordham, 26, Michael Roy Sapp, 58, and Deborah Mary Winslette, 53, all of Warner Robins, have all been charged with burglary in the first degree. Fordham is additionally charged with possession of tools for the commission of a crime while Winslette has an additional charge of possession of hydrocodone.
According to the indictment, on Sept. 26, the three entered a home on Wesleyan Court with the intent to commit theft.
Jacob Ratzlaff-Couch, 18, of Byron, has been charged with one count of aggravated assault by placing a knife against the throat of a woman April 14. The victim had reason to believe the suspect meant to cause violent injury, the indictment says.
Adrian Bassill Green Sr., 46, of Perry, has been charged with rape, incest and aggravated child molestation. According to the indictment, on June 25, he forced a woman to have sex with him. He then raped the victim’s daughter, who is under the age of 16, the indictment said.
Frankie Shazona Jackson, 27, of Warner Robins is facing 13 charges. According to the indictment, on March 28, he possessed marijuana with the intent to distribute. He also is charged with possession of a schedule IV controlled substance, Alprazolam. His other charges include three counts of possession of a firearm by first offender probationer and six counts of possession of a firearm during commission of a felony by having on or within reach a Ruger LCP, a Taurus PT738 and a Charter Pink Lady revolver. He is also accused of theft by receiving stolen property because the Ruger LCP was reported as stolen. The final charge is obstruction of an officer because he fled an officer while the officer tried to place him in handcuffs, the indictment says.
Christopher Shinholster, 27, of Warner Robins or Augusta, has three separate indictments against him for aggravated stalking. According to the indictments, a temporary restraining order had been issued against him by Bibb County Superior Court Judge Edgar W. Ennis Jr., and he then contacted his victim by being at her place of employment without consent for the purpose of harassment and intimidation Feb. 7. By Feb. 10, he had a temporary protective order issued against him by Ennis, but he again contacted the victim without consent, this time at her home, on Feb. 14. On Aug. 6, he again contacted the victim, this time by phone, on Aug. 6, against the temporary protective order issued in February.
Also charged are:
• Robert Aparico, 46, of Perry, with burglary in the second degree;
• Kirk Brian Boatwright, 49, of Warner Robins, with aggravated assault and battery;
• Cedrick Keith Clarington, 26, of Perry, with aggravated battery;
• Billy Joe Dwayne Edmison, 26, of Warner Robins, with child molestation and sexual battery against a child under 16;
• Niclous Armond Jackson, 28, of Warner Robins, with failure to register as a sex offender;
• Stevie Monroe Jackson, 38, of Warner Robins, with theft by shoplifting;
• Michell L. King, 46, of Warner Robins, with cruelty to children in the first degree and two counts of cruelty to children in the third degree;
• Jessie Allen Knutson, 22, of Centerville or Byron, with statutory rape;
• Johnny Richard Moore, 47, of Kathleen, with child molestation;
• Venus Rumph, 37, of Marshalville, with aggravated child molestation and child molestation;
• Carlton Tobler, 61, of Warner Robins, with possession of hydrocodone with intent to distribute, possession of clonazepam with intent to distribute, possession of a firearm during commission of a felony and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon;
• Anthony Lawrence Toon, 77, of Fort Myers, Fla., with criminal damage to property in the second degree; and
• John Bryon Williamson, 35, of Oglethorpe, with burglary in the first degree and theft by deception.
All persons named in this story are charged with a crime but have not been convicted, and are therefore innocent until proven guilty in court.
