Track (and Field) is back! Track and Field teams from all five county schools are going to be in action this month
The best and brightest track and field athletes in the county were all displayed Tuesday afternoon at McConnell-Talbert Stadium. The first all-county track meet of the season took place on the same night as the Warner Robins/Buford girls GHSA Elite 8 state tournament game. The crowd on hand wasn’t big, but the athletes on the field still performed at a high level. Football players like Veterans High School junior receiver/cornerback Jeremy Horton ran a strong 200 meters, while Houston County High School junior tackle Deontray Hill took part in the shot put.
