William “Bill” Carson 4/2/1921 – 11/30/2016

William Carson, aged 95, of Perry, Georgia passed away on Wednesday 30th of November. Bill was born and raised in Cincinnati Ohio, graduated Purdue University in 1942 achieving a Bachelor Science with honors in Mechanical Engineering. He played baseball for Purdue and was a member of Sigma Chi fraternity. Upon graduating, he enlisted and served in the army during WWII. He and his wife moved to Perry in 1971 to work for Pabst Brewery as an Engineer. He was a member and avid golfer at the Houston Lake Country Club for 40+ years. Other favorite hobbies included watching the Atlanta Braves, fishing and building model airplanes. He was known for being very inquisitive, kind, generous and helping others. He is survived by his wife of 73 years Marjorie Brown who was his college sweetheart, son and daughter-in-law Doug and Nora Carson of Muskegon Michigan, grandchildren, Bill and Bob Carson, great grandchildren, Luke, Ava and Drew Carson along with several nieces and nephews. He will be buried with military honors at the Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan.
