Byrd on Morris board
Morris Bank announced the addition of Mark Byrd to its Board of Directors. Spence Mullis, President/CEO of Morris Bank, stated, “We believe Mark will be a tremendous asset to our organization. His character, significant business experience, and passion to improve the communities we serve will contribute to our customers, our vision, and our future success.”
Byrd is the owner of Byrd & Company LLC, a real estate development and property management company specializing in residential real estate development and residential rental property management. He is a graduate of Georgia Southern University, where he received a B.B.A in finance. In his hometown of Warner Robins, Byrd serves numerous leadership positions. He is the chairman of the Houston County Development Authority, a member and former chairman of the Robins Air Force Base 21st Century Partnership Board of Directors, and current member of the Robins Air Force Base and Middle Georgia State College Board of Trustees. Mark and his wife Amy have a son Parker, and they are members of Bonaire United Methodist Church.
