First Middle Georgia Cross Country Summer Series race at Huntington MS

Tyler Yann, a rising sophomore at Warner Robins High School, timed nineteen minutes, 43 seconds at the first race in the Middle Georgia Cross Country Summer Series held Thursday at Huntington Middle School. He was one of three participants overall, all from David Erpelding’s program at Warner Robins High. Steven Kirk, a rising senior, ran the 5K course (adjusted from races held during the fall high school season) in 21:55. There will be two more races in the summer series, including this coming Thursday, June 27, at Huntington Middle at 7:30 p.m. The last race is at the Georgia Children’s Home in Macon. The entry fee is $5 on race day. Any runners who might be interested can contact David Erpelding at 478-328-3208 or at Erpelding@bellsouth.net.
