Ruth Sullivan Rackley Griffin
Born in Bronwood, Georgia, on June 27, 1921, Mrs. Griffin has resided in Houston County for 77 years. She was retired from Kellwood Company after 13 years of service. She was a life-long member of Bonaire First Baptist Church. Mrs. Griffin will be greatly missed by her family, the residents of Summerhill Senior Living Center, and the staff at Summerhill who treated who like their own mother.
She is survived by her sister, Cleo Sullivan (Charles) Laney of Howey in the Hills, Florida; her sons, John W. (Charlene) Rackley of Kathleen, and Felton Wayne (Lynn) Rackley of Warner Robins; five grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren. Mrs. Griffin was preceded in death by her husbands, Milton L. Rackley, Sr. and Murrie E. Griffin; her sister, Janie Sullivan Channell; her brother, Charlie Sullivan; her daughter, Janice Rackley Barnhart; and a granddaughter, Shelby Rackley.
