Scott seeks Warner Robins’ at large council seat

Charles Scott Jr. announced on Monday his intentions to run

for the Warner Robins City Council Post 1 at large seat.

Scott, who was a lieutenant with the city’s fire department

for 30 years, said that if he is elected, he will “focus on the Recreation

Department’s sports complex, public transit, Robins Air Force Base and the 21st

Century Partnership.”

“I will focus on the issues facing our youth, working

citizens and retired seniors, to insure that Warner Robins will continue to be

a place that all our wonderful citizens can enjoy,” he stated at the end of his

announcement in front of city hall.

Scott said he is currently on the board of directors for the

Combined Employees Credit Union, a member of the Civitan Club, a board member

for Meals on Wheels and an associate member with Montford Point Marines

Association.
