Central Georgia Red Cross holds Hometown Heroes breakfast at Museum of Aviation

The American Red Cross of Central Georgia took the time to honor several local heroes during the 2013 Hometown Heroes breakfast Wednesday at the Museum of Aviation.

A release from the American Red Cross said, “These people have made a difference in our lives by acts of courage or selflessly giving to benefit others. From all walks of life, these people are proof that one person can make a significant and positive impact on the well-being of others.”

Those that were honored include:

SSGT Randy Green, Disaster Relief Hero

Col. Mitchel Butikofer, Community Impact Hero

Amanda Farrel, Military Hero

Andrew Werkheiser, Emergency Response Hero

Macon/Bibb Fire Department; Station 8, Fire Rescue Hero

Judge Hulane George, Law Enforcement Hero

June O’Neal, Guardian Angel Hero

Katherine Hutto, Guardian Angel Hero

Eldridge Waller, Good Samaritan Hero

Mary Persons High School Class of 2013, Kody Lucas Paving the Way Youth Heroes
