Centerville Rotarians Provide GED Scholarships

Recently, Rotarians of the Centerville Rotary Club provided 32 scholarships to cover the GED testing fee of $160. It also sponsored the Houston County Certified Literate Community Program and Middle Georgia Technical College awards luncheon for the volunteers, mentors, teachers and their assistants who give of themselves to create a more literate community. Kathy Hart, President, and members of the Rotary Club of Centerville are shown presenting a check to cover costs of the scholarships to Brenda Brown, Vice President for Adult Education, Middle Georgia Technical College.
