WR’s Harris earns track points

Rod Harris of Warner Robins High placed in the top eight of both of his field events Thursday at the GHSA Class AAAAA track and field championships at Memorial Stadium on the campus of Jefferson High School.

Harris placed third in the long jump, a foot and a half short of second place at 21 feet, five inches. He was also fifth in the triple jump at 44 feet, 5.5 inches.

Perry’s Jimmy Mehserle ran the AAAA one-mile Thursday placing eighth.
