Northside High School

boys basketball coach Ken Price told the Houston Home Journal Friday that he is

retiring at the end of the current school term and taking a new job as

principal and athletic director at Westside Christian Academy in Warner Robins.

“I have made many

friends over the years,” said Price in his email. “Over the last two and a half

years, Northside basketball has won 74 percent of our boys basketball games. We

made history winning back-to-back 20 win seasons, back-to-back region titles,

and winning the Bear Brawl this year. I am hoping the new coach will move it

even further till we are winning as much as football.”
