Sacred Heart Lady Crusaders win tourney
In February, the Sacred Heart Catholic School eighth grade girls basketball team won the Macon Area Christian Tournament.
In her own words, player Lauraleigh Brooks describes the Lady Crusader victory:
“On Feb. 2, the Sacred Heart Lady Crusaders competed in the Macon Area Christian Basketball Tournament. The team won their first game without a problem. The second and final game for the championship brought difficulties. It was a rough start for the Lady Crusaders, but after the Spirit took over the team won the next two games and learned several lessons.”
