Warner Robins Optimist Club recognizes Students of the Month

Each

month during the school year, the Warner Robins Noon Optimist Club recognizes

outstanding high school and Pearl Stephens Elementary School (PSES) students

with its Student of the Month (SOM) honor.  High School Students of the

Month for January 2013 were awarded certificates from the group by high school

SOM Club Project Officer “Russ” Winge at a club meeting on January 24, 2013.

High School students were Megan Asadian, Houston County High School; Antonio

Ponce, Northside High School; Shannon Schnable, Veterans High School and Brian

Cornish, Warner Robins High School. The PSES students receiving certificates

presented by Winge for PSES SOM Club Project Officer Charles Chapman were

Jaeden Herring for December and Ras Robinson for January.

“Optimists – Bringing Out The Best In Kids”. The Warner Robins Noon Optimist

Club meets every Thursday at Ole Times Country Buffet. Please contact Club

President Jason Ashford at 542-2013(W) for additional information about club

meetings or if you are interested in becoming a “Friend of Youth”.
