Burglar sentenced to 20 years after breaking into multiple churches

At approximately 11:30 P.M. on September 4, 2011, officers with the Warner Robins Police Department responded to a burglary alarm at Christian Fellowship Church. When police arrived, they found Solomon standing near one of the church buildings with a window broken out. He was holding a ladder that he had just stolen from another church building. His boots resembled the footprints left around the property. Solomon had five previous convictions for burglary.

“Burglaries are extremely dangerous crimes which oftentimes put lives in jeopardy,” stated Assistant District Attorney Jacob W. Poole in a news release. “They will not, under any circumstances, be tolerated in this county. Special thanks to the Warner Robins Police Department  officers for all of their hard work.”

“The swift response by Warner Robins Police resulted in Solomon being caught at the scene, in the act. Anyone who burglarizes a church in Houston County had better be prepared to go to prison,” added
