MidSouth Announces New President/CEO
The Board of Directors of MidSouth
Community Federal Credit Union has approved the appointment of Roy Bibb as
MidSouth Community Federal Credit Union’s President/CEO. Mr. Bibb’s service as
President is effective on January 1, 2013. Mr. Bibb will replace Claude
Garrett, who has served as President of MidSouth Community Federal Credit Union
since 1976.
Mr. Bibb brings over 20 years of
relevant financial services leadership and experience. He most recently served
as Vice President of Branch Services at Robins Federal Credit Union and also
served in prior years as President/ CEO of Central Georgia Regional Credit
Union.
As President, Mr. Bibb will leverage
his experience and service vision in developing and executing strategic goals
and providing excellent member service.
MidSouth Community FCU was originally
chartered as Bibb Teachers Federal Credit Union, and has since grown to $174
million in assets with a membership that includes more than 31,000 members. Financial
services are open to anyone who lives, works, worships, or attends school
within the NCUA-designated 13-county community charter. MidSouth Community FCU is a local
not-for-profit financial cooperative, owned and operated by its members, with
the oversight of a volunteer board of directors.
