Hamby in Perry finishes remodeling
For
the most part it is back to business as usual as Hamby Chevrolet in Perry.
The
staff and customers worked through a total renovation that is geared toward
customer service.
The
remodel, which began in April and ended in October, left Hamby with an all-new
look.
“Everything
we have done was part of GM recommendations, but I do think the remodel will
help us in the long run,” said owner Mark Hamby.
The
renovations are tailored for customer comfort according to
Hamby. The remodeled building has a clean updated appearance.
“We used all local people for
construction, he said.” Joe Shuttlesworth of JWS Construction was the
contractor. From the floor to the roof we used locals to help stimulate our
economy right here in Middle Georgia,” Hamby finished.
Hamby noted the reasoning behind GM wanting the renovations
is to make Chevrolet dealerships similar in sight.
“It’s like the golden arches, when you see them you know
there is a McDonald’s,” Hamby said.
Hamby has been in business for 32 years and employees 35
people.
He said the customers are loving the renovations so far and
so is his staff.
Customers
are welcome to visit the newly renovated Hamby Chevrolet during the following
hours of operation:
Mon- Fri 8:30 a.m.-8 p.m.
Sat 8:30 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Editor’s Note: In the Wednesday edition of the Houston Home Journal we
wrote Rainbow Chevrolet hours of operation instead of Hamby Chevrolet hours of
operation.
Hamby’s hours of operation are: Mon- Fri 8:30 a.m.-8 p.m.

We deeply regret the error.
