Gergia Farm Bureau’s donation for the cure
Georgia Farm Bureau presented Cathy Pope and Emily Bowden, both with Susan G. Komen for the Cure, with a check after holding several fundraisers. The employees raised money by holding Casual Day Sales. Seventy-five percent of the funds raised by Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Central Georgia Affiliate, stay in Middle Georgia to fund community grants. These grants provide free or reduced costs mammograms for uninsured women in this area.
