15-year-old arrested for starting Warner Robins High School fire

A 15-year-old male juvenile was arrested after breaking into Warner Robins High School and starting a fire on Monday, Sept. 16.

WARNER ROBINS – A 15-year-old male juvenile was arrested after breaking into Warner Robins High School and starting a fire on Monday, Sept. 16. 

Members of the Warner Robins Fire Department and Police Department responded to the school, located at 401 South Davis Drive. According to the press release, initial investigation revealed a person broke into the school, damaged several areas and intentionally started a fire.

The press release says the case was investigated by Detective Smith and she was able to identify the offender. She then found he was linked to another case of burglary at the school which occurred on Aug. 29.

According to the Houston County Sheriff’s Office, the juvenile is currently detained at a detention facility. It is unknown at this time if he was a student at Warner Robins High School.
