13 arrested in marijuana trafficking ring operation
HOUSTON COUNTY, Ga. — As a result of a months-long investigation from local law enforcement, several people have been arrested for their involvement in trafficking marijuana. The Houston County District Attorney’s Office and local law enforcement agencies investigated these crimes in an operation called “Operation Green Machine.”
So far, 13 suspects have been arrested, with charges that include Conspiracy to Commit Marijuana Trafficking and Violation of the Georgia Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act:

-Jazmina Wynisha White
-Whitney Nicole Wynn
-Xasha Rose Henderson
-Kimberly Ann Gaines
-Chadonne Rebecca White
-Ahmad Shahid Roberts
-Hiram Johnson
-Dominique Veal
-Shuwana Nicole Mike
-Matthew Purvis
-Shavious Balkcom
-Amone’ Daniels
The arrests stem from investigation from the Perry Police Department, Houston County Sheriff’s Office and the DA’s office. Law enforcement conducted multiple searches at the suspects’ residences and found 40 pounds of marijuana, as well as firearms, digital scales and over $125,000.
The investigation is still ongoing with more arrests pending, but the arrests so far are believed to have already made an impact, according to the DA’s office.
In a release, the DA’s office said, “Narcotic Investigators believe that they have already dealt a large blow to the Jordan Gaines drug organization and marijuana trafficking industry in Houston County and Middle Georgia.”
The DA’s office will prosecute the charges stemming from this investigation. We will keep you updated as more details are made available.
