WRPD officer involved in car accident
A Warner Robins police officer was involved in an accident with a truck Thursday morning.
According to a press release from the Houston County Sheriff’s Office, around 11:38 a.m. the officer was involved in an accident with a small blue GMC truck at the intersection of Russell Parkway and Kimberly Road.
The intersection was closed for around one hour.
The drivers were taken to the Houston Medical Center with minor injuries.
