WRPD hosts annual Cookies with Santa

Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

The Wellston Center was transformed to a holiday-inspired

playground Thursday afternoon for Cookies with Santa, an annual get-together

hosted by the Warner Robins Police Department.

Families and friends of the police department were invited

to attend, as well as Warner Robins City Council members and their families.

Inflatable bouncy houses flanked either side of the room,

separated by tables of arts and crafts, snacks and goodie bags. An impeccably

dressed Santa Claus took center stage. After taking a photo with Santa, kids

had more than a dozen different brightly-colored cookies to sample.

“We are very family oriented in law enforcement,” said

public information officer, Tabitha Pugh. “This event is to get the kids

together and have a bonding experience among the families.”
