Working out with the Veterans Warhawks
Though they had to spend a little time under safe shelter when lightning flashed in the air Monday afternoon, the Veterans High football Warhawks were in full practice mode (though they can’t wear full pads until Thursday). Both punt and punt return were the focus of the early going led by coaches Steven Ruzic (above) and Marquis Westbrook. With Westbrook (left) are Rashaad Bolton and Cortez Broughton. Water was also in plentfiul supply (at left) as the Warhawks eye a season opener with Warner Robins Aug. 30 in Perry.
