Westfield students receives flag from JSTARS
Sixth graders in Kim Chalmer’s geography classes at The Westfield School received an American flag flown on a mission in their honor by Maj. Todd Jones, USAF Aircraft Commander and father of student Drake Jones. Maj. Jones serves with the JSTARS and is currently stationed in Afghanistan. The flag was carried aboard the E-8C JSTARS on May 7 in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. The sixth grade classes wrote notes and cards to Maj. Jones and his crewmembers.
