Warner Robins man killed after alleged attempted break-in

A Warner Robins man was killed after he was shot by the owner of a home he
was allegedly trying to break into.
Around 1:25 a.m. Sunday, officers of the Warner Robins
Police Department were called to 205 Thomas Boulevard in reference to shots
fired. Before they arrived at the home, they were notified that a man had
attempted to break into the home and the owner of the home, Travis Lucas, 32 of
Warner Robins, shot him, according to the police department.
Ronald Lewis Burnett, 36, was found lying unconscious
outside of the home. He had a gunshot wound to the chest, states a release.
He was taken to the Houston Medical center where he was
pronounced deceased.
